Mr. Harrison (Harry) Eugene Barnes, age 68 passed away Monday, June 23rd, 2025, at his residence. 

Memorial services will be held at 12:00 Noon, Monday, June 30, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Ronald Howell and Rev. James Ferguson officiating.    

He was born on July 5th, 1957, to Mr. Harrison Barnes and Mrs. Daphne Horton Barnes.  Harry loved eating out at different restaurants, family gatherings, and being around friends.

He was preceded in death by his parents, brothers Maurice, Tommy, Melvin and John W. Barnes, and sister, Ollie Mae Jackson.  Those left to cherish his memories are sister, Darlene (Todd) Ward of Moravian Falls, NC; brothers, Roger Barnes and Nathaniel Barnes of Moravian Falls; uncles, Paul Barnes, North Wilkesboro, Henry (Patsy) Barnes of Columbus, Ohio, Roosevelt Carlton of Moravian Falls;   aunt, Glendora (George) Carlton of Moravian Falls, and brother-in-law, Rev. Willie Jackson, Boomer;  and a host of nieces, nephews, cousins, and friends.
