Mr. Hardin Claude (H.C.) Kennedy Jr., age 79 passed away Tuesday, July 23, 2019 at Wilkes Senior Village.
Private Graveside services will be held at Kennedy Family Cemetery with Pastor Seth Siceloff officiating.
Mr. Kennedy was born September 28, 1939 in Wilkes County to Hardin Claude Kennedy Sr. and Maude Warren Kennedy. He was a member of Little Stone Mountain Baptist Church. He was the owner of an automotive shop, loved his pets and was a friend to all, an avid outdoorsman and dedicated to his family.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother; Frank Douglas Kennedy.
He is survived by his wife; Carole Ann Abernathy Kennedy of the home, two daughters; Darlene Wagoner of Hays, Wanda Tilley of Jonesville, two sons; Hardin Claude Kennedy III of Traphill and Douglas Frank Kennedy of Brevard, seven grandchildren; Hardin Dean Collins, Starla Gambill, Billy Brewer Jr, Adam Brewer, Rachel Carpenter, Hardin Claude Kennedy IV and Karah Kennedy, eleven great grandchildren, two sisters; Mary Agnes Higgins of Mustang, OK, Ola Norman of Traphill and three brothers; William Bud Kennedy and Roger Kennedy both of Harmony and John Kennedy of Hays and special fur baby; Lady.
