Hallalene Faw Brown, age 95, of Wilkesboro, passed away July 6, 2026, at Wilkes Health & Rehab.
She was born May 6, 1931, in Wilkes County to William Harrison Faw and Annie Lou Miller Faw. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, Hobert Brown, and infant grandson.
She was also preceded in death by her sisters, Viva Hamby and Argylee Burchette; and brothers John Alfred Faw, George Faw, Harrison Faw, and Wake Faw.
She is survived by her son, Wayne and wife, Barbara, of Mooresville; her brother Ralph Faw; and many beloved nieces and nephews.
The family would like to thank the staff of Wilkes Assisted Living, Atrium Wake Forest Baptist Hospital, Wilkes Health and Rehab and Mountain Valley Hospice for their kindness and care.
The family will hold a private graveside service at Mountlawn Memorial Park and will be officiated by Rick Krumel, lay minister of St. Patrick’s Episcopal Church, Mooresville.
