Haline Faye Eller

Ms. Haline Faye Eller, age 90, formerly of Rose Glen Village, North Wilkesboro, North Carolina passed away Tuesday, November 4, 2025, at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation in North Wilkesboro, North Carolina. 

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM Friday, November 7, 2025, at Greater Vision Baptist Church with Pastor Shane Pardue officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 PM prior to the service at the church. 

Haline graduated from Mount Pleasant High School. She joined her sister, Chris, in Raleigh for a career with BellSouth Telephone Company. After retirement, she and Chris remained in Raleigh until their move to Rose Glen Village in 2016, where she adapted quickly to the free lifestyle Rose Glen afforded. 

Haline loved watching sports. Favorites were her beloved Tar Heels and Atlanta Braves. For a number of years, she had season tickets to UNC football games and traveled to Atlanta to watch the Braves. She also loved to take sightseeing trips and did so throughout the United States. 

She was an active member of Crabtree Valley Baptist Church until her move to Wilkesboro and subsequently joining Greater Vision Baptist Church. 

Haline was born January 10, 1935, in Wilkes County to Percy and Ora Mae Eller.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by one sister: Christine M. Eller and six brothers: James M. Eller (Katherine), Raynard A. Eller (Angie), Raymond V. Eller, Edward G. Eller (Ruth), Max P. Eller (Ethelene/Sue), Rex J. Eller (Willa). She is survived by her sister, Nancy Eller Barnes (Harry), of Tega Cay, South Carolina and one brother, Kenneth (Kent) N. Eller, of Purlear, and numerous nieces and nephews, great nieces and nephews, great-great nieces and nephews, and many cousins.
