Glenn Icem Triplett

Mr. Glenn Icem Triplett, age 94 of Purlear, passed away Tuesday, June 9, 2026. 

Graveside services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday June 14, 2026, at Lewis Fork Baptist Church Cemetery with Pastor Dwayne Andrews officiating. 

Glenn was born December 17, 1931, in Wilkes County to John Osco and Estelle Shepherd Triplett. He was a member of Lewis Fork Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by three sisters, Doris Swanner, Faye Elledge, Dean Hall; two brothers, John O. Triplett, and Clyde Triplett. 

He is survived by his daughter, Loretta Adkins of McGrady; special nephew, John Triplett (Tammy) of North Wilkesboro; special great-great niece, Hannah Walker of North Wilkesboro; and several other nieces and nephews. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Lewis Fork Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 395 Lewis Fork Baptist Church Road, Purlear, NC 28665.
