Glenda Combs Obituary
Mrs. Glenda M. Combs, age 77 of Roaring River passed away Monday, November 22, 2021 at Mint Hill Medical Center in Charlotte.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 28, 2021 at Brier Creek Baptist Church Cemetery with Rev. Rick Tomlinson officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 until 2:30 PM prior at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Glenda was born March 23, 1944 in Wilkes County to Robert Glenn and Hazel Joyner Mathis.
In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her husband; Robert “Buck” Combs.
She is survived by a son; David L. Combs of Roaring River, a sister; Veona M. Cornelius (Ken) of East Bend, a niece, two great-nephews and several cousins.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, 243 N. Lee Avenue, Yadkinville, NC 27055.
