Gladys Pearl Wingler Myers

Mrs. Gladys Pearl Wingler Myers, age 97 of North Wilkesboro passed away Friday, February 26, 2021 at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Tuesday, March 2, 2021 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Joel Blevins and Rev. Steve Smith officiating.  The family will receive from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Monday, March 1, 2021 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Entombment will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.

Mrs. Myers was born February 6, 1924 in Wilkes County to Mary Ida Spears. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Richard Allen Wingler; one son, Jerry Allen Wingler; five sisters, Edith Church, Carolene Perkins, Zenna Faye Church, Bertha Mae (Betty) Eller, and Rosa Lee Carlson; and two brothers, Acie Lee Spears and Bryce Eller.

Mrs. Myers is survived by three sons, James Richard Wingler and wife Mabel of Galax, VA, Danny Thomas Wingler and wife Carole of North Wilkesboro, and David Randolph (Randy) Wingler and wife Teresa of North Wilkesboro; eight grandchildren, Dennis Wingler, Katie, Chris Wingler, Nathaniel Wingler, Natasha Jennings, David Wingler, Chad Blevins, and Christy Cox, seven great grandchildren; and one brother, Wayne Eller of Ohio.

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation, Assisted Living activities department 204 Brickyard Rd. North Wilkesboro, NC  28659.
