Obituary
Ms. Geralene Carol Parks, age 77 of North Wilkesboro passed away Friday, September 1, 2023, at her home.
Geralene was born March 16, 1946, in Wilkes County to George Glenn and Mary Lee Hampton Parks. Geralene was in the North Wilkesboro congregation of Jehovah’s Witnesses and a devoted full-time volunteer in that congregation. She enjoyed spending many hours teaching people about God’s Kingdom and did so up until her final day.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter, Cynthia Maxwell; a son, Gregory Lincoln; one sister, Ruth Parks and two brothers, Odell Parks, and Eugene Parks.
She is survived by four daughters, Beverly Lincoln, Tia Lincoln, Yolanda Sutton and husband Kenmore all of Maryland and Robyne Lincoln of North Wilkesboro; two sons, Leroy Lincoln Jr., and wife Kari, of West Virginia and Kevin Lincoln and wife, Jessica of Hillsville, VA; two sisters, Maxine Edwards, and husband Rick of Traphill and Louise Phelts, of Philadelphia, PA; one brother, Lonnie Parks and wife, Sarah of North Wilkesboro, and several loving grandchildren.
