Geraldine Johnson Cook

Mrs. Geraldine Johnson Pearson Cook age 87 of Wilkesboro passed away Wednesday, November 11, 2020 at her home surrounded by her family and friends. 

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM  Saturday, November 14, 2020 at Moravian Falls Community Cemetery with Chaplain Stewart Roten officiating. The public may view from 1:00 PM until 5:00 PM on Friday, November 13, 2020 at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

Mrs. Cook was born October 24, 1933 in Wilkes County to Dewey Johnson and Vergie Gregory Johnson. After she retired from Gardner Mirror, she joined her husband, Clyde at Wilkes Income Tax Service where she served as office manager.

In addition to her parents, Mrs. Cook was preceded in death by her first husband, James Frank Pearson, Jr.; a son, John F. Pearson; a sister, Anna Bach; a brother, John Trealy Johnson.

She is survived by her husband, Clyde Cook; a son, James Gary Pearson of Wilkesboro; a grandson, Jordan Pearson and Fiancée, Bailey of Wilkesboro; two stepsons, Gregory J. Cook and wife London of Greensboro, Jeffery H. Cook and wife Diane of Greensboro; four grandchildren, Gregory J. Cook, Jr. and wife Julie of Raleigh, Joshua S. Cook and wife Lauren of Greensboro, Jeffery A. Cook and wife Marianne of Greensboro, and Joseph H. Cook of Greensboro; seven great grandchildren;  two sisters Betty S. Dancy of North Wilkesboro and Carolyn Dearman of North Wilkesboro; several nieces and nephews; a daughter in-law, Debbie Pearson of North Wilkesboro.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Wake Forest Care at Home Hospice, 126 Executive Drive Suite 110, Wilkesboro, NC  28697.
