Frank was born on November 3, 1940, in Fayetteville, NC at Cape Fear Valley Hospital, to Frank Judson Pait, Jr and Eva Mae Bounds Pait.
Frank graduated from Fayetteville Senior high School and was chosen as Senior Superlative for Most Talented. He was chosen for his musical ability, singing and playing the guitar. As a young teenager he entered Talent Shows in the area and sang on the radio stations. And later he was a member of a Rock & Roll Band, The Elites, where his brother was the drummer; which he gave up when he and his family moved to North Wilkesboro. He attended East Carolina University.
In 1972 he accepted a position with Sturdivant Life Insurance Company and moved to North Wilkesboro, NC with his family. After Sturdivant Life Co., was sold he took a position with World Insurance Company in Omaha, Nebraska as a Regional Manager for the Western part of VA, NC, SC and GA. He and his family continued to live in North Wilkesboro.
When he moved to North Wilkesboro, he took up golf and enjoyed playing at Oakwoods Country Club with his friends and family.
What he enjoyed most was going to sports events for his two children. His son Frank J. Pait, IV (Frank) and his daughter, Jennifer Blythe Pait (Jennifer). Playing baseball, basketball, or anything else they participated in. He was very proud of his family and enjoyed keeping in touch with his old workmates and friends.
In addition to his parents, he is preceded in death by his daughter, Jennifer Blythe Pait and brother, Robert Douglas Pait of Whiteville, NC.
He is survived by his wife Pauline Davis Pait of the home; a son, Frank J. Pait, IV and wife Sheila E. Foster Pait of Hickory, NC and two beloved grandchildren, Tyler Davis Pait of North Wilkesboro and Baylor James Pait of Charlotte, NC. They were the pride and love of his and Pauline’s life.
Frank will be sorely missed and thought of every day by his family and friends.
We are most grateful to his doctors, all the nurses and aides at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist and Westwood Hills for giving the best care and attention. You could not ask for nicer and lovely people. Our family Sincerely Thanks You.
