Frances "Jeanette" (Bowlin) Taylor

Mrs. Frances Jeanette Bowlin Taylor, age 83, of North Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, March 8, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, March 11, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Kevin Souther officiating. Burial will follow in the Baptist Home Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:00 PM until 1:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.    

Frances was born August 21, 1941, in Rowan County to Jesse and Raydell Dancy Bowlin. She was a member of Baptist Home Baptist Church. Frances retired from Tyson and then worked at Baptist Home Preschool. She was a Cub Scout Den Leader for many years.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two brothers; Bobby Bowlin, and Tommy Lee Bowlin.

She is survived by her daughter; Sandra Shumate (Barry) of Hays, son; Kelly Taylor of North Wilkesboro, two grandchildren; Paige Wyatt (Matthew) of Roaring River, Adam Shumate (Kalia) of Taylorsville, three great-grandchildren; Owen Wyatt, Abigail Shumate, Piper Sweet, and sister; Charlene Bowlin-Hill (Ray) of Clemmons.
