Frances Joan (Barker) Suttle

Mrs. Frances Joan Barker Suttle, age 91 of North Wilkesboro, widow of Jimmie Ray Suttle, passed away Saturday, March 14, 2026, at Wilkes Assisted Living Center in North Wilkesboro.

No services will be held at this time.

Mrs. Suttle was born June 30, 1934, in Laurens County, SC, to Charlie and Daisy Thornton Barker. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Jimmie Ray Suttle; son, Ken Suttle; and sister, Helen Oxner.

She is survived by daughters, Helen Cocklin and husband Greg of Ferguson and Ellen Edmonds and husband Jerry of Clearwater, FL.
