Felicia Ruiloba Armes, age 80, of Clayton, NC and formerly of Virginia Beach and Norfolk, VA, surrounded by her loving children, entered eternal rest on August 9, 2022. A beloved mother and grandmother, Felicia was born in the Republic of Panama and spent her childhood years in Panama City, Panama. She married and moved to the United States, living in California, Nevada, Guam, Florida, Virginia and North Carolina.
Felicia was preceded in death by her infant son Paul David Armes; mother Juana Campos; father Faustino Ruiloba; and sister Marta Carrion of the Republic of Panama.
She is survived by four children: daughter Sherly Armes-Harding (Robert) of Clayton, NC; son Commander (USN-RET) Bobby Armes, Jr. (Indira) of Buford, GA; son John Armes of Raleigh, NC; daughter Marie Armes Trimmer (David) of Pilot, VA; and eight grandchildren: Timothy Armes, Gabriela Armes, Roberto Armes, Juan Pablo Armes, Holden Trimmer, Jessica Trimmer, Branden Harding (Dani) and Joseph Harding (Trish); and ex-spouse, Bobby "Joe" Armes.
A Celebration of Life will be held Sunday, August 14, 2022 at 2:00 p.m. at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Chapei in North Wilkesboro with Deacon Bill Donohue officiating, followed by burial at Knobb's Baptist Church Cemetery.
