Mrs. Eva Gambill Church, age 94 of Traphill passed away Wednesday, December 18, 2024 at her home.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Sunday, December 22, 2024, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Stuart Roten officiating. Burial will be in Piney Grove Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 12:45 until 1:45 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Eva was born July 31, 1930 in Wilkes County to Arthur Lee and Cora Maude Cleary Gambill. She was a member of Piney Grove Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Guy Church, a sister; Helen Gambill Smith, two brothers; Junior Gambill and John Lloyd Gambill.
She is survived by a daughter; Linda (Tony) Swaim of Elkin, two sons; Michael (Glenda) Church of Traphill, Carl Dean (Kathy) Church of Terrell, four grandchildren; Anita Swaim, Tammy (Jeff) Collins, Sherry (Jason) Dancy, Sarah (Jax) Littleton, five great grandchildren; Zach (Kayla) Patrick, Kristen (Clint) Williams, Justus (Elizabeth) Dancy, Eliza Clark and Penelope Clark, a brother-in-law; Claude Smith and special caregiver; Barbara Caudill.
