Mrs. Esther Wiles Higgins, age 87 of Hays passed away May 20, 2023 at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 11:00 AM Tuesday May 23, 2023 at Victory Baptist Church with Pastor Tim Pruitt officiating. Burial will be in the Church Cemetery. The body will be placed in the church at 10:30 AM prior to the service.

Esther was born June 1, 1935 in Wilkes County to Jesse Eules and Ollie Viola Byrd Wiles.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by; sisters; Connie Joines, Beatrice Myers and Reeda Caudill; brothers; Kenneth Wiles, Bill Wiles, Brady Myers and J. E. Wiles.

She is survived by her daughters; Annette Billings of North Wilkesboro, Janette Pruitt of Hays and Heather Higgins of Moravian Falls; grandchildren; Matthew Billings, Michelle Nichols, Mark Billings, David Pruitt, Christopher Pruitt , Bradley Pruitt, Victoria Pruitt, Dustin Estep, Hannah Dasno, Skyla Eller and Kristen Watts; great- grandchildren; Jaclyn, Farrah, Kathryn, Aubrianna, Chase, Sadie, Braelyn, Adelyn, Silas, Lauren, Maddi, Jadyn, Jackson, Janie and Ariana.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Victory Baptist Church PO Box 9 Hays, NC 28635.
