Ester Louise (Pruitt) Caudill

Mrs. Ester Louise Pruitt Caudill, age 93 of Roaring River passed away Thursday August 4, 2022, at Woltz Hospice Home.

Funeral services will be held at 3:00 PM Sunday August 7, 2022, at Rachel Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Wiles officiating. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.  Burial will be in the church cemetery.

She was born on August 28, 1928, in Wilkes County to Coy Issac and Kizzie Harris Pruitt.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one son; Roger Caudill; sisters; Grace Hinson, Ila Brooks, Lessie Porter, Maude Billings, Ann Pruitt, Ruby Wiles and Ruth Dimmette; brothers; Earl Pruitt, Eudene Pruitt, Reece Pruitt, Walter Pruitt; three grandchildren; Greg Whitley, LeeAnn Caudill and Chris Caudill.

She is survived by two daughters; Brenda Harris and husband Jerry; Kathy Jolly and husband Mevis both of Roaring River; two sons; Ricky Caudill and Ronnie Caudill both of Roaring River; one brother; Bob Pruitt of Winston-Salem; grandchildren; Chad Whitley, April Royal, Amy Grose, Daniel Jolly, Dale Caudill and Tiffany Gorciak; sixteen great grandchildren; ten great great-grandchildren.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Rachel Baptist Church 6388 White Plains Road Roaring River, NC 28669.
