Eric Lee Brown

Mr. Eric Lee Brown, age 60 of Lake Wylie, SC formerly of Wilkes County, passed away on December 27, 2021 at his home.

A Celebration of Life  service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, February 12 at Yellow Hill Baptist Church with Pastor Jamie Lewis officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 PM at the church prior to the service.  

Eric was born on November 17, 1961 in Wilkes County, to Shirley Mikeal and Aldean Brown. Eric loved to trout fish and hunt, riding Harley Davidson motorcycles and just enjoying life. He attended Appalachian State University and worked 40 plus years in retail management.

He is preceded in death by his wife Heather Hayes Brown and father Aldean Brown and step father Billy Ray Johnston and a special aunt Betty Mikeal.

He is survived by his mother Shirley Johnston of Purlear and brother Mikeal Brown and partner Venus of Low Gap and sister Tonya  Blackburn husband Nashone of North Wilkesboro, three nieces and nephews; Josh Shaw, Amber Tylor, Corban Vestal, two great nephews; Ayden and Maxx Tyler.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Yellow Hill Baptist Church Cemetery Fund, 5160 Summit Road, Purlear, NC  28665.  The family requests no food.
