Mrs. Elaine Harrald Johnson, age 86, of Wilkesboro passed away Monday, July 6, 2026, at Westwood Hills.
Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM, Monday, July 13, 2026, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Joel Gray officiating. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park. The family will receive from 1:00 until 2:00 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.
Elaine was born on December 29, 1939, in Wilkes County to Cicero Wilson and Bernice Chipman Harrald. Mrs. Johnson was a member at Vision Baptist Church in Wilbar. Elaine had a true gift for gardening and flowers, blessed with a green thumb. She loved her church, her Lord, and above all, cherished the time she spent with her family. Elaine worked in the transportation office at Holly Farms and Tyson for over 42 years.
In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband, Bobby Dean Johnson; a son, Wesley Aaron Johnson and a brother, Jack Wilson Harrald.
Those left to cherish her memory are two sons, Stephen Kendall Johnson of Wilkesboro, Joel Evan Johnson of Wilkesboro; grandchildren, Mayla Dawn Johnson and Fiancé Estaban of Washington State, Ivan Brooke Johnson of Taylorsville, Layden Gabriel Johnson of Taylorsville; great grandchildren, Isabella and Estaban; sister, Dorene Harrold and husband Wayne of North Wilkesboro and brother Wayne Harrald of Hays.
