Edna Hayes Kanupp Hall

Mrs. Edna Hayes Kanupp Hall, age 90 of Millers Creek passed away Friday, February 12, 2021. 

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Monday, February 22, 2021 at Mountlawn Memorial Park with Pastor Jeff Collins and Rev. William Kanupp officiating.  

Mrs. Hall was born January 8, 1931 in Wilkes County to Rev. James Edgar Hayes and Fannie Leah Jennings Hayes.  Edna was a member of Cricket Baptist Church.  One of her favorite pass-times was playing bingo. 

In addition to her parents she was preceded in death by her first husband; Robert Lee (Bob) Kanupp, three sisters and three brothers and a son-in-law; Gary Elliott. 

She is survived by her husband; Thomas Hall of the home, four daughters; Vicki Kanupp Minton and husband Tommy of North Wilkesboro, Joyce Kanupp Taylor and husband Dean of Millers Creek, Kaye Kanupp Elliott of North Wilkesboro and Dawn Hall of Winston-Salem, two sons; Alan Kanupp and wife Mary of Purlear and David Kanupp of Millers Creek, seven grandchildren; Kris Kanupp and wife April, Beth Dockery and husband Jonathan, DeAnn Caudill and husband Steve, Scott Elliott and wife Deia, April Blackburn and husband Joel, Brittany Kanupp, Sean Hall and wife Chelsea, nine great grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews and their dog; Scooby. 

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to H.O.P.E. Ministries, 514 Elkin Hwy, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659 or the Humane Society of Wilkes, PO Box 306, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659. 

The service will be live-streamed on Reins-Sturdivant Facebook page.  The family requests everyone attending the service wear a face covering and practice social distancing.
