Mr. Dylan Chase Vandeventer, age 23, of Elkin passed away Thursday, January 22, 2026, at his home.
A service will be held at 2:00 PM, Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Grapevine Baptist Church in Lewisville.
Dylan was born on February 6, 2002, in Davidson County to Ronald David Vandeventer and Anita Wynette Dunn. Dylan was an avid pool player and was a master of his craft. He also was well known for his superior roofing skills and hard work. He was also an extremely proud first time dad of his beautiful daughter Zena.
He is survived by his parents; step-mother, Patricia Vandeventer; fiancé, Mercedes Cloud of the home; daughter, Zena Vandeventer; three sisters, Samantha Vandeventer of Winston-Salem, Harley Call of Jonesville, Jersey Call of Hamptonville; two brothers, Gray Stone of Mount Airy, R.J. Vandeventer of Winston-Salem; grandparents, James and Robin Call of Wilkes; aunt, Denise Canny of Wilkes; cousin, Hailey Call of Wilkes; friends, Isaac Harris of Wilkes, Preston Dowell of Wilkes and Zeth Wooten of Hamptonville.
