Mr. Isaac “Dwight” Brown, age 88 of Hays went home to be with Jesus Wednesday, October 22, 2025, at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist Hospital. 

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Monday, October 27, 2025, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Jason Whitley, Sr. and Rev. Daron Brown officiating.  Burial will be in Little Mtn. Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 5:00 until 7:00 PM Sunday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Dwight was born October 5, 1937, in Yadkin County to William Marshall and Mary Thelma Baity Brown.  He was a member of Little Mtn. Baptist Church. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Iris Dean Brown, a sister; Mary Carter and a brother; William Frank Brown, Sr. 

He is survived by two daughters; Donna Brown Carpenter and husband Don of North Wilkesboro, Deborah Brown Kendall and husband Todd of Wadesboro.  Five grandchildren; Bo Kendall, Megan Adams and husband Brian, Casey Kendall, Marcy Bryan and husband Nathan, and Dakota Kendall Hatok.  Five great-grandchildren; Sebastian Adams, Calia Kendall, McKinnley Bryan, Ian Hatok and Evelyn Adams, a sister; Geneva Reece of East Bend and a brother; Charles Brown and wife Ann of Hays. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Little Mtn. Baptist Church, 388 Evergreen Lane, North Wilkesboro, NC  28659.
