Mr. Dwight Douglas Ashworth, age 75 of North Wilkesboro passed away Tuesday, March 14, 2023 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes.

Graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, March 25, 2023 at Saddle Mtn. Baptist Church Cemetery with speaker Jimmy Sizemore officiating.

Dwight was born November 11, 1947 in Alleghany County to Charles and Ruth Anthony Ashworth.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Alma Ashworth, two sisters; Rita Ashworth Hall, Joann Hill, and a brother; Benard Ashworth.

He is survived by a brother; Ronald Ashworth of Texas, and aunt; Faye Woods of Traphill, and several nieces and nephews and great nieces and nephews.
