Dr. Michael Aldred Blackwell

Dr. Michael Aldred Blackwell, age 70, passed away Thursday, June 25, 2026, at his home.

A visitation will be held, July 18, 2026 from 2:00 until 4:00 PM, at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home.

Dr. Blackwell was born December 1, 1955, in Mullins, SC to Aldred and Irene Meares Blackwell.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a sister, Ann Marie Hinson.

He is survived by four sisters; Fran Weller of Indian Land, SC, Sue Grainger of Loris SC, Barbara Green of Supply, NC, Sheila Cribb of Whiteville, NC and his four legged fur babies, Maggie, Lulu, Ruckus, Sammy, JoJo and Boone. A special acknowledgment to his caregiver, special friend Victor Manuel Herrera of North Wilkesboro, NC.
