Dorothy Myers Obituary

Mrs. Dorothy Ann Myers, age 80 of North Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, November 20, 2021 at Atrium Health-Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.

Private services will be held at a later date.

Dorothy was born May 18, 1941 in Wilkes County to John B. and Toyce McNeil Snyder. Dorothy worked at Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Regional Medical Center in the Admitting Office for 38 years. She loved her animals, R&D MacTavish and Lady Matilda Antranette.

She was preceded in death by her parents.

She is survived by her husband Richard Myers of the home, God-son; Terry Henderson, God-daughter; Michelle Henderson both of Statesville, God-grandson; Hunter Welch of Tampa, FL., cousins; Marian Pegram of Millers Creek, Melvin Sebastian of Millers Creek and Pam McNeil of Tryon.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Wilkes, PO Box 306, North Wilkesboro, NC 28659.
