Dorothy Hall (Gryder) Jones

Mrs. Dorothy Hall Gryder Jones, age 89 of North Wilkesboro passed away Wednesday, July 9, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist-Wilkes Medical Center.

Graveside Services were held at 2:00 PM, Monday, July 14, 2025, at Baptist Home Baptist Church Cemetery.

She was born on April 5, 1936, in Wilkes County to Robert and Carrie Waddell Hall. She was a beloved wife, mother, grandmother and great-grandmother. She will be greatly missed.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her previous husband, Bobby Gryder; sister, Lois Sebastain, and brothers, Claude and Justin Hall.

She is survived by her husband Morris Jones; daughter Terry Wagoner (Jamie) of Wilkesboro; granddaughter Cassidy Johnson (Steven) of Greenville, NC; grandson Cameron Spencer (Kimberly) of Wilkesboro; great-grandchildren Theo and Coco Johnson, Westley and Landon Spencer; brothers Ray Hall (Josie) of Atlanta, GA and Johnny Carrington of Hickory, NC.
