Mrs. Doris Wagoner Caudill, age 75, of Roaring River passed away Wednesday, February 12, 2025, at Joan and Howard Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, February 16, 2025, at Rachel Baptist Church with Rev. Brian Wiles officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM prior to the service at the church.
Doris was born August 25, 1949, in Yadkin County to R.J. and Mozelle Salman Wagoner. She was an active member of Rachel Baptist Church where she led the children’s youth choir for several years. She always helped with Vacation Bible School until her health would no longer allow her to.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a daughter; Anita Lynn Triplett, son, David Ray Caudill, sister; Anna Lou Wagoner, three brothers; Shirley Wagoner, Earlie Jay Wagoner, and J.C. Wagoner, mother-in law and father-in-law, Vergie and Royal Caudill.
She is survived by her husband; Michael Ray Caudill of the home, two daughters; Rita Triplett Wilson of Roaring River, Sherry Holbrook (Greg) of Thurmond, two sons, Stevie Triplett of Jonesville, Terry Triplett (Wendy) of Jonesville, eight grandchildren; Allen Holbrook (Stephanie), Brittany Allen (Jacob), Haily Church (Zach), Cody Wilson, Blake Wilson, Steven Triplett, Nia Triplett, Justin Triplett, eight great-grandchildren; Olivia, Abigail, and Conley Holbrook, Darci and Atticus Church, Parker and Lawsyn Allen, Victoria Triplett, sister; Tiny Rosemary Wagoner of Statesville, brother; Burlie Wagoner of Hamptonville, and sister-in-law; Joyce Caudill of Roaring River and many nieces and nephews.
