Mr. Delmar Wayne Caudill, age 89 of Wilkesboro passed away Saturday, November 29, 2025, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist – Wilkes Medical Center.
Services will be held at 11:00 AM, Wednesday, December 3, 2025, at Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum Chapel with Preacher Michael Phillips and Pastor Randal Millsaps officiating. Entombment with Military Honors by Veterans for Foreign Wars Post 1142 Honor Guard and The North Carolina National Guard Honor Guard.
Delmar was born on August 4, 1936, in Ashe County to Joe Todd and Millie Miller Caudill. He retired from Flavorich Dairy. Delmar was a member of Cricket Baptist Church.
He is preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Sylvia Rector Caudill; son, Jeffrey Caudill; sisters, Albertine Vernon, Nell Jarrett, Marie Davis, Shelby Jean Wyatt; brothers, Joe Caudill and Bill Caudill; and several nieces and nephews.
He is survived by numerous nieces and nephews as well as great-nieces, nephews and his many friends.
