Deborah Marie Lunsford

Debbie Lunsford, 42, died June 1, 2022. She was born January 8th, 1980 to Ricky Lunsford and Nellie Marie Riggs.

Debbie had many accomplishments in life, but the only thing she ever cared about was being the best mother that she could be to the love of her life, her only son, Eli Hutchens.

Debbie was patient, nurturing and showed Eli love each and every day. Anyone that knew her can absolutely without a doubt say that she was the best mother. To say Eli was her world would be an understatement. She loved him more than life itself. They were best friends. 

Debbie was preceded in death by her sweet son, Eli Hutchens.

In addition to her parents, those left behind to cherish her memory are her sisters, Lisa Barlow, husband Chad and Karen Lunsford. Brother, Steven Lunsford. Paternal grandparents, Mae Rogers and Pansy Shepherd. Niece Candace Barlow. Nephews, Joshua Lunsford, Jakob Lunsford, Tyler Lunsford, Caleb Barlow, Bentley Shepard, Koda Shepard. Special friends, Eli’s dad, Andy Hutchens and Eli’s grandmother, Edie Hutchens.

Debbie loved everyone in her life. Her last days on earth she spent caring for others and putting their needs before her own. Because that is who she was and that is how she loved.

As a final act of selflessness, Debbie helped others by being an organ donor.

For those who did not know Debbie, the family hopes these words reflect how beautiful of a person she was.

The family would like to thank those who have prayed for them during these very difficult times.
