David Jackson Cranfill

Mr. David Jackson Cranfill, age 68 of Hays passed away Saturday, September 11, 2021 at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Medical Center. 

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Wednesday, September 15, 2021 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Brian Blankenship, Rev. Julius Blevins and Rev. Eddie Tharpe officiating.  Burial will be in Mountain View Baptist Church Cemetery.  The family will receive friends from 11:30 AM until 12:30 PM at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

David was born in Yadkin County on February 14, 1953 to Carl and Cora Bell Davis Cranfill.  David loved the Lord and his church.  He was a devoted husband, father and grandfather.  He will forever be missed. 

In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a grandson; Mathew Cranfill and a sister; Tena Cranfill. 

He is survived by his wife; Brenda Billings Cranfill of the home, three sons; Scotty Cranfill and wife Amy of Dobson, Timothy Church and wife Lindsay of Charlotte and Jamie Church of Hays, a daughter; Kimberly Turner and husband Chris of Waxhaw, six grandchildren; Alan Cranfill, Benjamin and Abigail Church, Sierra Church, Kathryn and Caroline Turner and a great grandson; Jesse Cranfill, two brothers; Ricky Cranfill and wife Margaret of Boonville, Gary Cranfill and wife Debbie of Yadkinville and a sister; Regina Renegar and husband Billy of Boonville. 

Flowers will be accepted or memorials may be made to the Humane Society of Wilkes, PO Box 306, North Wilkesboro, NC  28659.  

The family requests that everyone attending the services please wear a face covering.
