David Shawn Barlow

Mr. David Shawn Barlow, age 59, of North Wilkesboro, passed away Monday, June 29, 2026, at Carolina Medical Center in Charlotte. 

No services will be held. 

David was born February 2, 1967, in Wilkes County to Ransom Monroe and Martha Harrold Barlow. 

He was preceded in death by his father; Ransom Monroe Barlow, paternal grandparents; Elmer and Millie Barlow, maternal grandparents; Trealy and Lorene Harrold. 

He is survived by his wife; Janis Axton Barlow of the home, his mother; Martha Barlow of North Wilkesboro, brother; Keith Barlow of Winston-Salem, two nieces; Sarah Barlow and Cady Barlow. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Shriner’s Children’s Hospital, 950 W. Faris Road, Greenville, SC 29605.
