Daryll Ray Hendren

Mr. Daryll Ray Hendren, age 62 of Wilkesboro went home to be with his Lord and Savior on  Monday, December 9, 2024.  Daryll lived a quiet life consumed with family, work, and service to others. 

A graveside service will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, December 11, 2024, at Mt. Sinai Baptist Church Cemetery in Wilkesboro with Pastor Joey Campbell officiating.  The family will receive friends immediately following the service. 

Daryll was born November 16, 1962 in Wilkes County to Oliver Ray and Suzie Hendren. He graduated from Wilkes Central High School and earned a diploma in Auto Mechanics at Wilkes Community College.  Daryll was a Boy Scout and achieved the Eagle Scout award.  He was employed by Tyson Foods as a member of the maintenance department. 

He is survived by his brother, Patrick Hendren and wife, Josie; two nephews, Austin and Cody Hendren.  Daryll was preceded in death by his parents, Ray and Suzie Hendren. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Mt. Sinai Baptist Church, 2794 Mt. Sinai Road, Wilkesboro, NC 28697.
