Cleta Jones (Francis) Parrish

Mrs. Cleta Francis Jones Parrish, age 94, of North Wilkesboro passed away on Sunday, February 15, 2026, at her home.

Funeral services will be held at 2:00 PM, Wednesday, February 18, 2026, at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Timothy Coy Pruitt officiating. The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. Burial will be in Mountlawn Memorial Park.

Cleta was born on February 2, 1932, in Ashe County to Carl and Ruby Wiles Francis. She was a member at Baptist Home Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her first husband Bobby J. Jones.

She is survived by her daughter, Debbie Jennings (Johnny) of North Wilkesboro; grandchild, Annette Cox (Chuck) of North Wilkesboro; great-grandchild, Tyler Cox (Carly) of Myrtle Beach, SC; great-great-grandchildren; Brantley Cox, Chloe Cox both of Myrtle Beach, SC; sisters, Clarine Foster of North Wilkesboro, Elaine Morris (Billy); brothers, Dean Francis of North Wilkesboro, Dennis Francis (Violet) of North Wilkesboro, David Francis of North Wilkesboro and Donald Francis (LuAnn) of Traphill.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Mountain Valley Hospice and Palliative Care, PO Box 325, Dobson, NC 27017.
