Claudia Cleary Obituary
Mrs. Claudia Mae Whittington Cleary, age 63 of Charlotte formerly of Wilkes passed away Saturday, July 17, 2021 at her home.
Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, July 28, 2021 at Fishing Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Roger Wagoner officiating. Burial will be in the church cemetery.
Claudia was born March 13, 1958 in Wilkes County to Claude Allen and Irene Mastin Whittington. She loved watching TV, especially Family Feud, and loved her grandchildren. She was a real people person, and a hard worker with multiple jobs.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, John Wayne Cleary.
Claudia is survived by two sons, Nathan Ruiz and husband Raymond of Charlotte and Shaun Allen Cleary of Wilkesboro; three grandchildren, William Paul Love, Trinity Faith Cleary, and Isabelle Reaney Cleary; and one brother, Claude Curtis Whittington and wife Phyllis of Wilkesboro.
