Christine McBride

Mrs. Christine McBride of Blowing Rock passed away Tuesday, January 7, 2025 at her home.

Funeral services will be held 10:30 AM Tuesday, January 14, 2025 at Liberty Knob Regular Baptist Church with Pastor Wayne Overcash and Rev. Justin Parker officiating.

Christine was born June 16, 1964.

Her husband of 24 years which is Ronald D. McBride.  She has brothers still living Jackie Watson, Randy Watson, Junior Watson and Benny Watson and, spouse Darlene.  Also, one older sister, Brenda and her husband Roger Royal.  She also has several nephews and cousins living as well.

Christine was a wonderful wife; she loved to paint variety of pictures and crochet and cook an so much more!! She was “AWESOME”.

She was one wonderful woman and I know the “Dear Lord” is “Pleased” with her, and so was I….and may the Dear Lord and his angels carry her to that golden shore, so she can Rest in Peace with all of her loved ones.

Burial will be at Liberty Knob Church, right at the end of the Oklahoma Road off of the Stone Mtn. Rd. at the State Park entrance. It will be a graveside service.

“Directions”:  Come to the Elk Spur Church on the Stone Mtn. entrance; turn right on the Oklahoma Rd., continue towards the top of the mtn.  Church is on the left… There is a sign.
