Charlie Franklin Watkins, Sr.

Mr. Charlie Franklin Watkins Sr., age 75 of North Wilkesboro passed away Friday, June 27, 2025.

Graveside services will be held at 10:00 AM Monday, July 7, 2025, at Scenic Memorial Gardens with Rev. Michael Brinegar officiating.

He was born on July 4, 1949, in Wilkes County to Cromwell and Emmo Bentley Watkins.

He was preceded in death by his parents.

He is survived by two daughters, Sonya Watkins of Hiddenite, Shannon Watkins of Millers Creek; two sons, Michael Watkins of Hiddenite and Charlie F. Watkins Jr (Samantha) of Millers Creek; seven grandchildren, Aiden Watkins, Dalton Watkins, Taylor Watkins, Nathan Watkins, Sierra Watkins, Ella Watkins and Miracle Watkins; three sisters, Brenda Cooper, Mary Jane Lowman and Bertha Hilton.
