Charley Lewis Kight

Mr. Charley Lewis Kight, Jr., age 73, of Wilkesboro passed away on Tuesday, February 10, 2026 at Westwood Hills Nursing & Rehab Center.

Services are planned for a later date.

Charley was born May 17, 1952 in Calhoun, West Virginia to Martha Freshour.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister Nola Carpenter. And son-in-law Darrell McCoy.

He is survived by daughters Kimberly Dawn Gary (Adam) of Granite Falls, Jennifer Renee McCoy of Independence, VA; grandchildren Chelsea Gary, Winter Gary, Teegan Smith, Mary Grace McCoy, Jordan Boone, Emma Gary, Kadence Gary, Noah McCoy and Payton Gary; great-grandchild Emersyn Boone.
