Chad Poplin Obituary
Mr. Chad Anthony Poplin, age 46 of Elkin passed away Wednesday, April 20, 2022 at his home.
A Celebration of Life service will be held 2:00 PM Saturday, April 30, 2022 at Benham Baptist Church with Pastor Joe Souther and Rev. Shane Pardue officiating. The family will receive friends immediately following the service.
Chad was born at Wilkes General Hospital on September 19, 1975 to Loyd and Cindy Nichols Poplin. He graduated from East Wilkes High School, class of 1993 and was an electrician. He served in the United States Navy. Chad had a sweet and kind spirit that will be sorely missed by all that loved him. Chad was a member of Benham Baptist Church.
He was preceded in death by his mother; Cindy Vernell Nichols Poplin.
He is survived by his son; Cole Anthony Poplin of Ferguson, father and step-mother; Loyd and Carol Poplin of Elkin, brother; Brock Holbrook and wife Tabitha of Mocksville, and numerous beloved uncles, aunts and cousins.
