Carolyn Jane Sweezy Love

Mrs. Carolyn Jane Sweezy Love, age 78 of Boomer, passed away Tuesday, August 6, 2019 at Wake Forest Baptist Wilkes Medical Center.

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, August 10, 2019 at Little Rock Baptist Church with Rev. Robert Livingston and Rev. Robert Webb officiating. Burial will be in Little Rock Baptist Church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 9:45 until 10:45 prior to the service at the church.

Mrs. Love was born November 27, 1940 in Cleveland County to Roy Franklin Sweezy and wife Cora Elizabeth Pearson Sweezy. Mrs. Love was a member of Little Rock Baptist Church.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a grandchild; J.D. Love II and a sister; Diane Sweezy.

Mrs. Love is survived by her husband of 58 years; Terry Love of the home, a daughter; Verna Elizabeth Love Mills and husband Mark of Mooresville, three sons; Terry C. Love, Jr. and wife Melody of Iron Station, Barry F. Love and wife Linda of Kannapolis and Jonathan D. Love and wife Jennifer of Seagrove, five grandchildren; Jeremy H. Love and wife Jessica, Emily C Love and husband Jordan, Alex Love, Ruby Dawn Love and Luke Vernon, seven great grandchildren; Jared, Amelia, Gracie, Cora, Isaac, Xander and Addyson, a sister; Sybil Jenkins of Mt. Ulla and two brothers; Roy Sweezy and James Sweezy both of Valdese.
