Carole Wilson Eller

Mrs. Carole Wilson Eller, age 91 of North Wilkesboro went home to be with her Lord and Savior on May 7, 2023 ather home. 

Graveside services will be held 11:00 AM Wednesday, May 10, 2023 at Mountlawn Memorial Park with Dr. Bert Young officiating.  The family will receive friends from 6:00 PM until 8:00 PM Tuesday evening at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

She was born November 9, 1931 in Cabarrus County to Floyd and Flossie Wilson.  Carole was a faithful servant of Jesus and a member of North Wilkesboro Baptist Church.  She loved growing flowers and at one time had 100 rose plants.  Later she learned how to make porcelain dolls and had a shop for a brief time before giving it up because she missed her furry grandchildren. 

Carole was a graduate of Appalachian Teachers College and taught for 30 years, mostly in the Wilkes County School System. 

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband; Joe Eller of 67 years, her brothers; Floyd, Jr. and Gene Wilson. 

She is survived by her daughter, Diane Eller, her son, Glenn Eller and wife Natalie and granddaughter, Ansley Jarvis, her poodles, Lulubelle and Rosie.  

She will be remembered by her children as a wonderful and loving mother. 

The family wishes to thank Mountain Valley Hospice and their wonderful staff, Amanda and Stephanie, and the caring CNA’s for their hours of compassionate care of their mother. 

The family would also like to extend an appreciation of thanks to Kurt for being so kind to their mother.
