Carol Kay (Wooten) Byrd

Carol Kay Wooten Byrd, age 78 of Purlear passed away Tuesday, December 17, 2024, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Wilkes Medical Center.

Memorial services will be held at a later date.

She was born October 1, 1946, in Yadkin County to James Thomas and Lillie Belle Groce Wooten.

In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by a brother, Jerry Thomas Wooten.

She is survived by a sister, Debbie Barker of Yadkinville.
