Mrs. Carol Ann Smithey Kilby, age 79 of North Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, April 26, 2025, at the SECU Hospice Care Center in Yadkinville.
Private memorial services will be held Wednesday, April 30, 2025, with Pastor Roger Hull officiating.
She was born on November 23, 1945, in Wilkes County to Alton Roscoe and Lennie Mae Michael Smithey. She was a member of the Lutheran Church of the Atonement.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by two sisters, Kathleen Smithey Patrick and Hazel Smithey Johnson; and brother, James Smithey.
She is survived by her husband, Thomas Kilby Sr.; son, Thomas Allie Kilby II (Catina DeBord) of Millers Creek; two daughters, Diana Kilby of Oak Island, NC and Debbie Tompkins (Rickie) of Tobaccoville, NC; and several nieces and nephews.
