Bobby Glenn Nichols

Mr. Bobby Glenn Nichols, age 75 of Wilkesboro, passed away Saturday, March 29, 2025, at Woltz Hospice Home in Dobson.

Funeral services will be held 12:00 PM, Tuesday, April 1, 2025, at Millers Creek Baptist Church with Rev. Shannon Critcher officiating.  The family will receive friends from 10:30 AM until 11:45 AM prior to the service at the church.

Mr. Nichols was born on December 29, 1949, in Wilkes County to James Winfield and Annie Dancy Nichols.  He retired as a member of the Millers Creek Fire Department and was an original F.A.S.T. member.  Bobby was also a member of the Wilkes County Home Builders Association.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter, April Dawn Nichols; two brothers, Rayburn “Bud” Nichols and Mailon “Nick” Nichols; and three sisters, Reba Pierce, Marie Huggins, and Mary Belle Church.

He is survived by his wife, Bronda Martin Nichols; a daughter, Tonia Nichols Laws (Joseph) of Millers Creek; two sons, Chris Nichols (Danielle) of Boomer and Jonathan Nichols (Kelly) of Millers Creek; six grandchildren, Kimmie Walton, Cameron Laws, Cassie Laws, Jona Nichols, Caleb Nichols, and Maddox Nichols; and one brother, Claude Nichols of Wilkesboro.

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to Woltz Hospice House, 945 Zephyr Road, Dobson, NC, 27017.
