Bobby Hamby

Mr. Bobby Hamby, age 73 of Moravian Falls passed away Tuesday, April 23, 2024, at Ridge Valley Center for Nursing and Rehabilitation. 

Bobby was born October 31,1950, in Wilkes County to James Burchette and Ruby Triplette Hamby. He was a member of Oakwoods Baptist Church. Bobby retired from Snyder Mills. 

Funeral services will be held 11:00 AM Saturday, April 27, 2024, at Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum Chapel with Pastor Christopher Clark officiating. Entombment will follow at Scenic Memorial Gardens Mausoleum. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his sister; Peggy Heffner and two brothers; Michael Hamby and Dick Hamby. 

He is survived by two sisters; Maxine Laws of Moravian Falls, Wanda Hollar (Tracy) of Statesville, three nephews; Richard Laws of Moravian Falls, Morgan Hollar of Statesville, and Tate Hollar of Statesville. 

Flowers will be accepted, or memorials may be made to St. Jude Children’s Research Hospital, 501 St. Jude Place, Memphis, TN 38105.
