Bobby Dean Huffman

Mr. Bobby Dean Huffman, age 67 of Wilkesboro, passed away Wednesday, January 13, 2021 at his home. 

Funeral services will be held 1:00 PM Monday, January 18, 2021 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Pastor Cecil Royal officiating.  The family will receive friends from 11:45AM until 12:45 PM on Monday at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home prior to the service.  Burial will be in Pilgrim Baptist Church Cemetery. 

Bobby was born February 1, 1953 in Wilkes County to Betty Irene Huffman. He raised four children that were not his own children. He was a logger and tree cutter. 

He was preceded in death by his mother; three sisters, Linda Ellen Viles, Cynthia Watson, and Carolyn Watson. 

He is survived by his wife, Mary Watson Huffman of the home; three daughters, April Mintz and husband Chris of Purlear, Tiffany Darnell and Kenny Carroll of Ferguson, and Melissa Huffman of Millers Creek; two stepsons, Edward Hodges and wife Mary of Vilas, and Christopher Hodges, and wife Amy of Beech Mountain; six grandchildren, Kira Cardwell, Eric Higgins, Kinley Mintz, Brooklynn Mintz, Carissa Settle, and Larissa Settle; seven step grandchildren, Finley and Blake Hodges, Alexis, Kendra and Taylor Hodges, Katelyn and Alex Icenhour; two brothers, Billy Wade Watson and Larry Wayne Watson both of Wilkesboro.
