Mr. Billy Dean Wilmoth, age 75 of Traphill passed away March 20, 2023, at Atrium Health Wake Forest Baptist Hospital in Winston-Salem.
Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, March 26, 2023, at Thanks to Calvary Baptist Church with Rev. Dr. Jeremy Simpson and Pastor Tony White officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:30 PM until 2:30 PM prior to the service at the church. Burial will be at Little Mountain Baptist Church Cemetery in the Rock Creek Community.
Billy was born January 22, 1948, in Wilkes County to Kermit R. Wilmoth and Rose Royal Wilmoth Sebastian. He was a member of Thanks to Calvary Baptist Church. He retired from Chatham Manufacturing.
In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by one brother; Junior Lee Wilmoth.
He is survived his wife Janice Roope Wilmoth of the home; two daughters; Denise Reid (Joey) of Winston-Salem, Dana Deaton of Traphill; two sons; Jeffery Wilmoth (Tammy) of Yadkinville, Chad Wilmoth (Lisa) of Millers Creek; eight grandchildren; two great-grandchildren; four sisters; Betty Jo Casey of Traphill, Ima Jean Cox (Ray) of Thurmond, Wanda Young (Robert) and Linda Freeman both of Elkin; brothers; Bobby Wilmoth (Rosalee) of Hamptonville, Jerry Wilmoth of Elkin.
