Billy Mac Prevette

Mr. Billy Mac Prevette, age 83 of Ronda passed away peacefully Sunday, May 23, 2021.   

Funeral services will be held 2:00 PM Tuesday, May 25, 2021 at Reins-Sturdivant Chapel with Rev. Curtis Ponder officiating.  Entombment will follow at Mountlawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.  The family will receive friends from 12:30 until 1:30 PM prior to the service at Reins-Sturdivant Funeral Home. 

Mr. Prevette was born November 18, 1937 in Wilkes County to Worth and Della Mae Perkins Prevette.  

Bill loved his family and making music with friends and family.  He worked many years at Home Chair Company before starting his own business as a well known and respected upholsterer. 

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his loving wife of 55 years; Louise J. Prevette, brothers, Dean Prevette and Gary Prevette and sister; Catherine St. John. 

He is survived by a daughter; Teresa Clonch and husband Larry of North Wilkesboro, two sons; Scott Prevette and wife Crissy of Ronda, Marty Prevette and wife Jeanie of Mt. Airy, two granddaughters; Amanda Hart and husband Josh of Statesville, Bella Prevette of Mt. Airy, a grandson; Gage Prevette of Mt. Airy, two great granddaughters; Taylor Clonch and Abby Hart, great grandson; Malachi Hart, two sisters: Norma Sheets and husband Bobby and Audrey Wood and husband Steve. 

The family wishes to thank the staff of Mountain Valley Hospice and Wilkes Senior Village for the great care of Bill.  Special thanks to Courtney Wood, Amanda Handy and Debbie Ford for loving Bill and his family.
