Beverly Mae (Call) Shew

Mrs. Beverly Mae Call Shew, age 84 of Wilkesboro passed away Thursday April 27, 2022 at her home.

A private family graveside service will be held at Saturday April 30, 2022 at Full Gospel Mission Church Cemetery with Dr. Bobby Norman and Rev. Jody Brown officiating.

She was born on January 27, 1938 in Wilkes County to Ralph and Clora Mae Curry Call Harkey. She was a member of Congo Pentecostal Holiness Church.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by one daughter; Abigail Shew; one son; John William (Jaybird) Shew, Jr.; one brother in law; James (Boot) Willard Shew and a sister in law, Robin Call.

She is survived by two daughters; Diane Shew Hall (Harvey) of North Wilkesboro and Peggy Shew of Wilkesboro; two sons; Ray Shew (Terrie) of Wilkesboro, Gwyn Shew (Billie Jo) of North Wilkesboro; four sisters; Bernice Shew of Wilkesboro, Linda Cochran (Brian) of Statesville and Sandra Nance (Jim) of Statesville, Mary Bowers (Jim) of North Wilkesboro; four brothers; Jack Call (Tillie) of High Point, Vernon Call and Clay Call (Brenda) of Archdale, Gary Call (Doris) of Statesville; six grandchildren; Johnathan Shew, Tosha Walker, Adam Shew, Amanda Chambers, Catherine Hall Rhoades, Clifford Hall and nine great-grandchildren.
