Betty Rae (Marley) Wolfe

Mrs. Betty Rae Marley Wolfe, age 93 of Ferguson, passed away Tuesday, October 28, 2025, at her home.

Betty was born on April 9, 1932, to Abb and Zee Marley.

In addition to her parents, she is preceded in death by her husband; Earl Wolfe, two sisters; Doris Fairchild, Eva Carter and brother; Dennis Marley

She is survived by a sister; Louise Church, three daughters; Brenda Jolly (Jim), Jane Moore (Mike), June Farrington (Darrell), son; Lloyd Wolfe (Janet), five grandchildren, Donna Huie, Emily Eller, Zachary Wolfe, Elizabeth Reins, Jacob Joines and five great-grandchildren; Hannah Huie, Sarah Huie, Caiden Eller, Aubrey Reins, and Mylee Joines.

She was a lifetime member of Beaver Creek Baptist Church and was an honorary member of Ferguson Fire Department, where she was on the Board of Directors and was chief cook for many years. She also was a member of the Ferguson Community Organization for many years.

The family would like to thank the following staff from Medi Home Health & Hospice of Sparta; Julie, Laura, Anna, Amanda and Tina for their love, care and support they gave to Betty and her family.

A graveside service will be held at Beaver Creek Baptist Church cemetery at 2:00 PM Sunday, November 2, 2025, with Rev. James Hall and Rev. Hadley Triplette officiating.
