Betty Miller Obituary
Mrs. Betty Raye Severt Miller, age 88 of North Wilkesboro, passed away Monday, April 6, 2020 at Wilkes Health and Rehabilitation.
A private graveside service will be held at Mount Lawn Memorial Park with Rev. Randall Millsap, and Rev. Jerry Harris officiating. The family will receive friends from 1:00 until 2:00 pm Thursday at Mount Lawn Memorial Park Mausoleum.
She was born February 1 1932, in Ashe County to Charlie and Veada Miller Severt. She was a member of Cricket Baptist Church.
In addition to her parents, she was preceded in death by her husband, Garnie Miller; three sisters, Olga Severt, Faye Roark, Loretta McCoy; and three brothers, Bryce, Ernest, and Herman Severt.
She is survived a daughter, Betty Miller McGlamery and husband, Gary E. McGlamery of Millers Creek, a granddaughter, Lisa McGlamery McCarty; two great grandchildren, Dustin and Kasey Fortenberry; a sister Ruth Eller of Brunswick, GA
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to St. Jude’s Children’s Research 501 St. Jude Place Memphis TN 38105.
