Mr. Benjamin “Benny” Harry Norman, age 88 of Ronda passed away Wednesday, November 12, 2025, at Hugh Chatham Nursing and Rehabilitation Center. 

Funeral services will be held 3:00 PM Sunday, November 16, 2025, at Temple Hill Methodist Church with Rev. Justin Welch officiating. Burial will be in the church Cemetery. The family will receive friends from 2:00 PM until 3:00 PM prior to the service at the church.      

Benny was born March 16, 1937, in Iredell County to Thomas Roy and Sarah Elizabeth Denny Norman.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by his wife; Melissa Joyner Norman, sister; Faye Norman Cornog, two brothers; Thomas Norman, and Paul Norman. 

He is survived by his niece; Susan Norman Eads (Udell) of Tega Cay, SC, two nephews; Gary Norman (Linda) of Greensboro, James Norman (Belinda) of Mt. Holly. 

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Temple Hill Methodist Church, 1311 Somers Rd. Ronda, NC 28670.
